Repairs That Blend In and Protect Your Home
Cracked, warped, or storm-damaged siding doesn’t always mean a full replacement. EMC Remodeling repairs vinyl and James Hardie siding for homeowners across Central Texas, fixing damaged sections so your home’s exterior stays protected and looking its best.
Siding Repair Services We Offer
Panel & Plank Repair
We repair or replace individual damaged sections of vinyl or James Hardie siding, matching them as closely as possible to your existing siding.
Storm & Hail Damage Repair
Cracked, dented, or blown-off siding from a storm is usually easy to spot right away. We repair the damaged sections and can help document the damage for your insurance claim if needed.
Emergency Siding Repair
When a storm leaves your siding damaged or missing, we respond quickly to protect your home from further water intrusion while repairs are underway
Caulking & Seam Repair
Cracked or missing caulking around seams, corners, and trim can let water behind your siding over time. We reseal these areas to keep moisture out and protect what’s underneath.

Signs You Need Siding Repair
Cracked or Warped Panels
Cracks, warping, or buckling in your siding aren’t just cosmetic — they can let moisture behind the siding and lead to bigger problems if left unaddressed.
Holes or Punctures
Hail impact, flying debris, or accidental damage can leave holes or punctures in your siding. Left unaddressed, these openings can let moisture and pests behind your siding — but they’re usually a straightforward repair rather than a reason for a full replacement.
Gaps or Loose Panels
Panels that are loose, gapped, or pulling away from the wall are no longer protecting your home the way they should, and can worsen with wind or storms.
Have Signs of Siding Damage?
Common Siding Repair Situations
Repairing Chipped or Cracked Hardie Panels
Fiber cement is durable, but it can chip or crack from impact, especially along edges and corners. Since Hardie panels are cut on-site during repair, any exposed edges need to be sealed with touch-up paint to keep moisture out — a step that’s easy to miss if it’s not done by someone experienced with the material.
Matching Discontinued or Faded Vinyl Colors
Vinyl siding can fade over time, and manufacturers regularly discontinue older colors — so a patch repair doesn’t always match perfectly, especially on an older home. We’ll always try to get the closest match possible, and can talk you through your options if an exact match isn’t available.
Insurance Claim Approved Work
If your insurance company has approved repairs or a replacement following storm damage, we work with all insurance providers to make sure every necessary repair is included in your claim so your home is fully restored.

Materials & Brands We Work With
Matching Your Existing Siding
Whenever possible, we repair using materials that closely match your existing siding, so the repaired section blends in rather than standing out. We work with major brands like Ply Gem and James Hardie for siding repairs.
If your siding has extensive damage or you’re weighing a full replacement instead of another repair, our Siding Replacement page has more detail on the specific brands and lines we install.

We have friends who have had JamesHardie siding on their home for years and have always loved the quality and durability of the product. So, when it came time to replace the siding on our home, we reached out for samples and were soon contacted by EMC Remodeling. We met with Matt right away, he walked us through the various choices and helped us with the design. We received a quote and were able to schedule the work soon after. We were extremely pleased with every work team that came to our home. Each team demonstrated great attention to detail, cleaned up at the end of each day, and left our property in great shape. We are very pleased with the finished product and overall experience. Our new JamesHardie siding looks beautiful, and we would recommend EMC Remodeling to anyone considering a siding project.Posted on Google![]()

We had an incredible experience with this roofing company. We needed our roof fixed urgently and they responded very well and did and incredible job fixing our roof. They even found a new issue while up there and we’re very diligent about getting it fixed as well. Miguel was our guy, he was very nice and great at what he does along with the whole EMC team. FAQ
Will the repaired section match my existing vinyl siding?
We always aim for the closest match possible, matching the panel style and color as closely as we can. Keep in mind that older or discontinued colors may not be an exact match, so we’ll talk you through your options if that’s the case.
Will insurance pay to replace the rest of my siding if it doesn’t match?
Texas doesn’t have a “matching law,” so insurance companies aren’t required to cover anything beyond the actual damaged sections. That said, we’ve successfully worked with insurance companies before to get additional work approved when it’s warranted, and we’ll advocate on your behalf to help restore your home to its pre-storm condition and value.
